Mining Bitcoins, Litecoins....

There is a lot of information already about 'mining' BitCoin and other currencies....

I'll give you our quick take on it.

“Mining is the process of adding transaction records to Bitcoin's public ledger of past transactions. This ledger of past transactions is called the block chain as it is a chain of blocks. The block chain serves to confirm transactions to the rest of the network as having taken place.”

WARNING – BEWARE OF SCAMMERS

One such scam that you NEED to be aware of are the BitCoin software that claim to
help you automate tasks of getting free coins.

Many of them are TROJAN viruses or keyloggers that track every key you enter on your computer. This means they can then review this data and steal your coins. They can also steal anything else valuable on your PC like your PayPal login or bank account details.
